Begining a OT Server

Hello,

I am a Software Engineer and am interested in starting to develop OTs . I have knowledge in various technologies , and learning is not the issue.
I have a problem , do not know where to start.
I realize that there are many tutorials on this forum , but is being hard to start , anyone can guide me my start in this adventure ?
I realized that the OTS use a TFS server emulator , I can put any tibia version in?

Hello Vítor.

As you said, this forum is full of tutorials about setting up a OT Server.

In fact, TFS is a development made to create a OTServer, so you can use TFS as your base to create your server. About the versions: Recent TFS source code is for recent Tibia versions, if you want to set up your server in some version, you have to make sure the TFS version you use, is valid for the Tibia version you use. They have some protocols which have to be common to work.

Go to the Tutorial Section, and start reading about how to set up an OT from scratch.

I think that one is 7.92

the one right after it is an update to 8.1, but it debugs 8.0... So this has to be 8.0 XD

If you want stable release don't use 1.2 at this moment, it's in development stage.
