OldTibia High-Rate will be going live soon!
Date of Launch: August 21st (Friday @ 3PM EST)

Main Differences from the Low-Rate:
Blessings are 10k each instead of 5k (Total: 50k for all blessings).
5 Kills to RS instead of 3.
Amulet of Loss is 50k instead of 35k.

Experience Stages:
Level 8 to Level 20 = 72x
Level 21 to Level 40 = 50x
Level 41 to Level 60 = 36x
Level 61 to Level 70 = 24x
Level 71 to Level 80 = 12x
Level 81 to Level 90 = 8x
Level 91 to Level 120 = 6x
Level 121 to Level 150 = 4x
Level 151 to Level * = 3x

Server Rates:
Skills: 8x
Magic: 5x
Loot: 3x

Health & Mana Regen:
Double Real Tibia Regen Rates of 7.4.
Promotion increases Regen Speeds by 1 second.

Frag System:
5 Unjustified Kills = Red Skull for 48 Hours.
8 Unjustified Kills = Banned for 24 Hours.
You gain 1% of the victims experience when you kill them!

How the System Works: 24 hours after your last frag, your entire frag list clears.

OldTibia Feature List:
Task System, Party Share Exp, Full Quests!
No runes in shop, must be conjured!
Conjured Runes have double charges.
No soul points for conjuring.
All strong monsters drop up to 100 gold coins at 80% chance.
All average monsters drop up too 35-55 gold coins at 50% chance.
No protection zone on boats and ability to travel while skulled.
Boats use "bring me to" function like 7.4.
Faster attack speed for Knight and Paladins (1.5 Seconds).
All spells and exhausts match 7.4 Mana Rates.
Cannot rope if items block hole.
Full Health & Mana on Level Up.
PvP Damage set to 50% of PvE Damage.
Stair Hop Exhaust is Disabled.
UH Trap is available, if 2 or more parcels then not walkable.
Wands removed from shop and creatures.
Spears do not break, they drop under creature.
Bank System.


Map Changes:
Rashid added to Thais Library.
Pits of Inferno Dragon Lord Lair added.
Desert Quest requires only 1 player.
Port Hope is accessible.

Premium Features List:
Ability to wear Premium Outfits.
24/7 Free Light. (Granted "utevo vis lux" on login).
You will have access to Daniel Steelsoul - Premium Only Tasks.
Be excluded from the Anti-PK Broadcast when you frag someone.
Gain 10% of the Monsters Max Health as Bonus Experience when you kill it!

Example: Rat = 2xp, Warlock = 320xp, Demon = 820xp)

Changes:
-Blessings will only protect up to 50% of loss.
-There is no longer experience earned for killing players.
 
dude wtf? Oldera is coming up this saturday your server will be up for one day. Good way to decrease your reputation before your server even launched.
 
Oldera is 7.72, we are 7.4. They have wands, we dont. You can buy runes from shops there, here you cant. The list goes on, thanks though Ingens :)

Rofl why are you so butthurt, why would this launch date decrease any reputation? What makes you think it'll be up for one day only? There are so many differences between the 2 servers, just focus on Oldera and don't try to randomly make other servers look bad with these silly comments.

a server owner who doesn't know the importance of not releasing his server the day before a very popular one is coming up probably doesn't have any experience in any other factors of the project either. Ignorance of which you just proved you share with him.

The server has been around before, with a decent playerbase. If anything it MIGHT lower the amount of players online, has nothing to do with the reputation of the server itself or the owner. It's a fine alternative to Oldera, especially for the American playerbase.

It's annoying, Ryan finally stopped trashing & destroying other oldschool server, and now you start doing that for him. Just keep yourself to Oldera and Classicus if these are the servers you think are better, and leave the rest alone.

I'd be willing to get used to it if it was constructive critisism, not this bullshit you're spitting out in this thread. You're just being useless at the moment, trying to bring someone's server down. You're just a lil' sad attention seeker, I just gave you some attention now. Hope that'll last you long enough to survive 'til the next person to give you some attention comes along. I'm done.

Leaving already? Please tell me against how this server's playerbase ain't going to be affected much at all by another server that everyones been waiting for, just one launch day after? I'd really like how you think (or don't think) when you actually wrote this statement.

Sorry for hijacking your thread OP, your server seemed good and that's why it's annoying that you'd waste it by putting it up at the same time as oldera.

People are protected until level 35, after that you will need blessings otherwise people drop 100% of their items.

@Deez, if you hadnt died since level 35; then the blessings were still active. After level 35, the blessings dont remove. You get one free set of blessings until you die after level 35.

@Ingens, Yeah definitely see your point. We may need to figure something out for a proper launch after I get done a few more updates.
