Linux Lag server with linux (OVH Host)

Hello dears! I have a cloud VPS in OVH with configuration:
2 vCores
2 GB Ram
100 Mbps Link
64 bits system (debian 8)

Map size 14 MB ! ! !
I use trunk.r3777.


server lag, with walking.. please help!

Ping the server to see if it's caused by network latency or the server itself. You should also check CPU utilization (use top or htop if it's installed).

200ms isn't that good...I live in Europe, if my mate (which lives in Brazil) runs his server I get about 260 ping, and it's "unplayable" My character walks sqm by sqm, its ridiculously slow.

I thought 2GB RAM would be less, but your map has only 14MB, it shouldn't be a problem at all. Have you checked your sources? Some have an Option to use like 4 cores, this could make really a problem, if you only have got 2.

Got the same problems with OVH.
First server was fine, but after that I had huge problems with kicks (even FTP and Putty got kicked), could not login to the game server or the VPS itself.
Not even the support could login to the server with the last server.

They could not fix the problem and told me to buy a dedicated server next time to see if that would resolve it.
They also tried to blame it on my setup and or coding..
