Any things I (or others) need to know about using Paypal!?

Hey guys, this probally is a noob post.:oops: but I think It's pretty important.

  • Are there any things I need to know before I start using my shop with Paypal?
  • I heared there is the function that you can refund. How is the best way to prefend that people do it? Just banning then from the server or also something else?
I've totally no experience with using Paypal so I'm open for every advice! ;)

Sorry if its an useless post, but I just wanted to know.

I'd say 5% of people will chargeback. The best way to handle it is

1. Read those guides.
2. Always call paypal about it (Dont simply respond to the dispuit, usually they wont give an f)
3. If the player has donated multiple times, explain that to them, explain to them the player was clearly happy with his purchase and kept purchasing.
4. Ask them to check if the player has done a chargeback recently to another server, if so you can explain they probably abuse it.
5. Goodluck, some people are very good at abusing the system and you will still lose some. But if you have a good terms of agreement, only 20-25% of people will get away with it and those players you blacklist/let paypal know they will probably do it again.

Do I need a bussiness account on PP or is the personal also fine?
And is selling things like this on a website legal? (Living in The Netherlands)
