I'm sure there will be some strategies players will use to try and farm safely but that's just how tibia is imo. I am sure people will eventually catch on if they are really intent on stopping someone farming keys/maps. I did also have an idea about making it so maps/keys can only be used in the zone the boss belongs to e.g. Titanium Golem > Ancientera... the problem with that is generic bosses that are used in multiple areas and also bosses inside rifts which have no spawn place outside of rifts for that level. I guess that is something we could also change with the wipe as we would not have to worry about pre-existing maps/keys. We will see, nothing is set in stone at this point.
 
The only problem I see with just using a key and spawning a boss is that say low levels are chilling outside dp and somebody higher just spawns a boss that is to hard for any of those low levels and the guy basically uses the boss to pk people

Just make them spawnable where they dröp and above and never in enigma, no problems then

However i think maps should stat the way they are, they are consumable after all so you cant sit forever in pz tp just do maps

also now that im home i can clarify some of my opinions better

fiscos ice is currently gotten from killing fisco a second time after you already killed him to rebirth, but it was added quite a while after people were actually selling runs for fisco, and i think that the element with fisco where you either had to assemble a team, or pay some high lvl for a boost through it was good for the market, instead of just buying an item for reward tokens and insta-rebirthing (i will however say it was a nice addition after a while because people wanted more and more alts to try out and stuff, but adding it the second someone actually loots it would just feel bad tbh, it would give ppl who can pay a free rebirth and those who cant a shitty time because people dont want to carry 1 person because of the time it takes etc...)

gilded set is another thing that was added a while into the server (at a point where it was worse than most peoples set on mains of those that where decent levels) and adding it now the second boss gets spawned (not too long after someone gets 7k) would mean again, that those who can pay for an entire gilded set will have full t7 by 6k? (cant remember exactly) and t8 by rebirth (which pretty much NOONE had at the start of the server), admittedly, people will have better gear now cause of ubers and chests yes, but full t8 after rebirth is more than enough to steamroll pretty much every single rift (meaning people who collected gear before it to have good gear wont really have much of an advantage, full t8 will just be gems which xagul said will be more scarce, or t9 maybe but i highly doubt it, again, i think it should also be delayed a bit further to encourage people actually trying to get gear BEFORE rebirth instead of just buying gilded set then grabbing gear when they hit t3 bosses + ubers....

key changes are something that has to happen, and having them only spawnable on you outsize pz in the area relevant to them is a very good idea (although it doesnt stop an alt from hiding in a place where noone really goes and most ppl dont know exists and just afk botting keys, and finding out an alt of someone who is keybotting is kind of impossible unless they slip up and show it giving gear to it or such...

maps should definitely stay the way they are imo, theres no point restricting them to outside pz and relevant area and removing the rooms, you still have to actually be outside and hunt to get them, and if you want to stop someone from hunting then just afking maps on an alt (Which they hunted to earn) just restrict them to be usable by person who looted them (at t3 and above if u do that imo, since lower tier of maps some ppl tend to give away to new ppl for starting gear and such)

We quickly decided against it for this very reason:
somebody higher just spawns a boss that is to hard for any of those low levels

After seeing how Deathzot played out this time, I really don't think low levels will mind dying in Enigma to high level bosses in fact most people might actually have a good time once it does finally die and loot explosions happen. I think the bigger issue is when that same high level boss is spawned somewhere like mutated rats where new players are trying to hunt and they really do not understand the server and then become frustrated because they are dying to super bosses.

One thing that will most certainly help the situation is the fishing system. If the player that spawns the boss walks too far away then the boss will disappear. This would mean a high level cant simply walk to Edrona, spawn 50 golems, go back to what they were doing beforehand. I think between this and some numerical limits to the amount of bosses you can spawn at a time it should be ok, we can always adjust it later on or if someone else comes up with some good ideas.

Well I mean you don't necessarily have to make the monster despawn if the person who spawned it goes to far away. Just make the bosses have like a 5 minute or so timer then after that they despawn. I feel like that would make more sense because then if someone dies then could have a chance to make it back and kill it. Just a thought
 
I suppose it could be something like a 5 minute timer if the player that spawned it isn't nearby. I'd rather not limit the time people have to kill it since it's not really necessary anymore.

Yea I didn't know if you wanted to limit the amount of time people had or not, but yea that sounds like a good idea should work fine.
 
Ahh nice to see the spawn outside PZ option coming into play. Would have been wonderful to have back when I had those 300 runics lol

But this time around I don't think I will go for keys. Got other plans for getting that loot count up :D
 
I just hope this comes online relatively quick... Would suck to have to wait forever for it come online.

Haha went and read about 40 pages of shit from the start of this server damn i got nothing better to do, but some of the complaints and shit are hella crazy i can see why hosting/owning a server would be a pain in the ass, People BITCH about everything known to man and still got responses for it.
