This is World Of Lastwar 7.72
Hello folks, a new age have come to Lastwar:

Summary

World of Lastwar consists of 4 civilisations, Sarmenien(populated main-city), Minas tirith (city over the mountains) , Jungina (Jungle village) and Kabadu (underground city), with this and alot of landscapes between, both underground and by the surface, approximately 5 000 spawns with npcs will join you on your journey.

Quests

Some of the quests are more or less custom but you will also find alot of similarities with Tibia quests. Annihilator is a quests we have totally ripped off except for the environment around. Same with Demon Quest and Ferumbras. We have other quests like Temple of divinity, Lastwar Quest, Hydra quest, Behemoth Quest, Addon Journey, Dipthrah & Mahrdis (bosses) and so on.

Your role
You will wake up in a place called the Rookgard where you'll only spend a really short time. From there it requires level 8 to go to so called mainland where you get to choose a civilisation and a vocation.
- Tip: Search for signs & look what they say, follow them and you might find what you seek!

Update: We have corrected a alot of bugs and we are interested in hearing, what would you wish to have on WoL for the upcoming start?
 
Looks good, always nice to see 7.72 being used for a project. A custom map otserver is a bit of a double edged sword; it has a lot of potential to become an awesome mmorpg, but it also removes all the foundation that cipsoft has built via the real tibia map. Imo, a good way to make a custom map server work is by examining all the things that made the real map work well (cities, quests, lore, etc.) and use that as a blueprint while making your own unique world. One problem is that players know the real map like the back of their hands, they can easily navigate through it, maybe you should make it easy for players to cope with a new map by mapping easy to remember cities (like thais, carlin, etc).

Custom maps have more potential than real maps, but they take a lot of creativity (a huge amount).

I like your reflection and i totally agree in some points. The thing is, people have to start to LEARN how to play World of Lastwar through the other old "wol-players" or by listening and reading signs. Just like in real life. More reflections please, i'm happy to get all tips i can get!
It's kinda well declared where everything is. I mean its kind of the thing with exploring? isnt it? That you dont know everything until you see it.
