I really enjoy the whole scenes coming out.

I dont know how much you care about small stuff but the z-pattern on the mountains isnt really connecting and some have a line between.

The mountain was made by a friend and I did some remakes to fix some lines in the connections. Haha

I think You should stop wasting time on that childish anime bullshit and focus on your own graphics. Your best pieces of work are the ones that aren't based on japanese cartoons.
 
In that case I think its a mather of money :)

But I agree @Leshrot you could easily join an indie development and earn a decent rate if you got spare time.
