[Hosting] France vs USA?

This thread is mainly to ask, where would you prefer a server to be hosted from?

OVH offers both EU and NA data centers, I own a NA dedicated server with them right now and I have no complaints. Although I am also from NA, so I shouldn't have lag; when speaking with players from over in EU.. most have no lag as well but of course there is many players that do.

When playing on servers that are hosted in France on OVH, I havent experienced any huge differences. Game play is basically the same, although I am using a pretty steady connection (50 down/10 up) which may not be the same as some other users who only have (10/2 or 15/5) which could cause some lag to the France hosted servers.

So my main question is where do you prefer the server to be hosted, France or NA (East Coast) and what are your experiences from your location playing these servers?

I am personally leaning towards going with France to accommodate US/EU players equally in a sense.

internet speed has nothing to do with your ping to a server.
host in EU, more players there

What sort of server? Rl map/custom ot/evo?

@denkan97 - Server type varies, could be RL could be a custom server/evo. The servers come with 16 ips, so we could easily host 2-3 projects at once without a problem. We just want the best location for tibia players.

@coma - EU does have a ton of players, but there are alot of Brazilians as well. Just seems EU's are more likely to try new servers than BRs are.
