Hi guys,
Im cleaning my PC and i found some 7.6 server distributions. I reuploaded them so they stay availible for the whole OpenTibia community.

NOTE: This server distributions are not made or modified by me. Some virrusscanners may see this old distributions as a dangerous file. Using this files is at your own risk! Files are uploaded on Uploaddiamond.

The pakkage contains the complete server with original map as far as i know.

Lol me too! Neverland and YurOTS were awesome haha.. These distributions are an important part of the Open Tibia Community History. They should be online forever :)
 
The golden age of OT. OT has been dead and shit since 8.6 took over and now its just... Sad

The community is gone, the servers are gone. Nostalgic servers get no players.
Makes me fucking sad that the community went from what it was to this. R.I.P OT.
 
I love the nostalgic servers! I wish there were more of them for me to play because the rest are either over run or just sad. That is why I have wanted to make my own with the real tibia map, for friends to play on together. Most quit playing after the 8.0 updates, sadly.

No. 8.6 was the tipping point. It popularized 'modern' servers and forced the shift from oldschool and spawned a new era of OT.

Looking at Otservlist all we see now are people looking to play real tibia but with higher rates instead of trying to escape tibia and play something new, custom map, items, quests, monsters etc. It's a disgrace to OT.
 
latest version of RME (that I downloaded from here) only works with the capture the flag server. all other servers ive tried to edit the map of will not launch if I edit them with RME.

Blackbuster, do you have the older mapeditors? simones for example?

I opened them with RME 3.0 without problems, all the maps sucks, you are not missing anything. Try the real lastest RME https://github.com/hjnilsson/rme/releases/
 
If you guys are intrested, me and ezzz Will put up our 7.72 cip clone very soon:)
