You can host it on your own PC/Home connection for testing and let your friends or random players try it, or you can find a Hoster interested in your project (If you have one).
But don't expect getting too high with that, you'll OFC need to purchase a VPS or Dedicated host when you start hosting it serious.
I also have seen few free hosting service here for non-profit servers maybe you can try talking to them.

There is also AWS free tier (Amazon) but I think most free tiers won't have enough system requirements to host a server.

Well, if he want to host the server just to test with few friends or alone, will be enough. But, yes, to host a final project is not a good choice.

don't think you'll be able to host a RL map with a free server, at least.

the RL map is huge and takes a lot of ram (over 4GB ram iirc?)
