really do like the wall mix. Only issue is the pillars imo.. I feel like limestone pillars may mix better than the ruin ones and maybe some trim border to fade out the floor tiles to a different tile.

Other than that, looks pretty cool.

Now it's time for me to show y'all the dwarven town of Tetherrock. This is my 3rd remake of the city and this time I think I got it right. The idea is that the dwarves had to escape their underground mines and halls because of a strange curse. They then fled up on the mountain outside of the entrance where the curse did not get them. With the small area they now had they had to build onto the mountains, as well as being aided by humans (via the Lumberjack Society) and a few elves. This meant they had to cut down the once bountiful forest outside of the grand entrance of the dwarven kingdom to use the different wood materials as walls for their new above ground houses. The elves gifted the dwarves a seed for a protective tree to protect their new town.

While they managed to save some of their riches, most got lost in the mines. They hope that some day brave adventurers will help them get more of their belongings back, and maybe some day even their home.

World of Therran is looking for at least one new mapper.

Hello @mackan, could you tell me if these golden brick Sprites are in RME or were they modified / new Sprites?
I would also like to know what is this wooden sprite used to make the walls / walls in this scenario, and what are the Sprites numbers of each one of them in RME.

The golden brick walls are modified from venore brick walls, the floor is custom.
The wooden walls are also custom made, the roofs are modified. So you won't find any of them in your RME I'm afraid.

Here's my submission to the December mapping competition, which ended up in 3rd place.

My thought behind it was a village that had been struck with a plague 1 year ago (theme: 1 year of the plague), which they're now trying to cope with by keeping distance from each other, wearing masks and keeping themselves informed while trying to keep up most things as usual. The burning coffins are a thought from the limited space of the cemetery creating the need to burn the deceased instead. I started out with the muddy river which I then built the theme from, I incorporated a rugged landscape as to show that they hadn't been able to focus on landscaping and keeping their village in good condition. I also thought of a fortification to keep out outsiders that would worsen the plague (which at first was a large tower that I wasn't satisfied with that ended up being reduced to a lookout instead). I first thought of adding deceased to carts, which I then thought that after a year they would have at least started to get on track with removing the disease-filled corpses from carts and give them a proper end, at least in this size of a village. I also decorated interiors in the houses, which I then decided to leave out because I chose a full view of the village instead.

I would like to thank everyone who voted for my submission and hopefully liked it as much as I do.

This area will be slightly modified and then incorporated in a future area in Therran (as to not waste it).

(Btw, @Gilgamach called his opposition a Ferrari, a Porsche, a Lamborghini and an Audi. I hope I was the Lambo since that's my favorite of those :) )
