Hi
I would like to create something on 8.60
but I prefer 1.3
but nekiros is kinda outdated ( about a year )
is it stable?

I don't think it's stable, I stopped my server's progress because of this too.
Waiting for better downgrades and hopefully for older clients too 8.0/7.x

@Levi999x For 8.6 the best is Fablow's repository.

It has the lastest commits from TFS main branch applied, you won't find bugs.
The only you should be aware of is this one, but is easy to fix

is it 1.3 based?
seems like it does not even have rev scripts

Yes it is, the only difference is that doesn't use revscriptsys or mods folder, if you wish to add a revscript just separate the script and register the different lines on the corresponding folder
Code:
OTX Server 3 es un fork de OpenTibia basado en: The Forgotten Server 1.3.

P.S be sure to use Fablow's repository because OTX 3 has lots of bugs

yes, nekiro downgrade is very stable, you just need to put some time on it and if you worried about outdated just take latest tfs and apply the commits nekiro did instead and you will have "your own" downgrade:

and no, I don't recommend any OTX at all, it is far from being based on 1.3 (more like 1.2 or something, as you can see here, it is from 2017, so it is more outdated than nekiro downgrade)

@Levi999x It's up to you, Nekiro's needs source fix to be more "native" to 8.6 because it is a downgrade. OTX is outdated, but the Fablow's repository isn't, it is a recent fork based on OTX 3. Test and you will see if works for you or not.

This applies to any repository, and is totally right. You can use nekiro's or fablow's as base but the outcome has to be this ^

For revscript, if you really wish to have it you can try revscriptsys by EvilHero90 · Pull Request #2558 · otland/forgottenserver (https://github.com/otland/forgottenserver/pull/2558/files), haven't tested because I don't requiere the system but is worth to try.

What was actually wrong with it? Never really looked at it or used it, but I'm curious
Mostly the game play didn't feel like 8.6 and also I needed to be updated with TFS 1.3 commits but many of them was complex for me to add one by one, I added few of the easy opened issues like house regex fix/RSA decryption fix which may cause crashes or lag but still I felt like there are more errors or there will come more that I won't be able to fix by myself.

That's why I decided to wait for an active downgrade where many people will be testing/posting issues they find.

I don't believe I'm only one of the few users that have kept nekiro downgrade up to date (it has like 99% of tfs commits up to today) :( I'm using this for my 8.6 project since I found it and don't have anything to complain, I only don't release it because it has a bunch of edits I did to fit my server and because 1.4 is near the corner

and for me it looks completely as 8.6 except by the server log messages, but they are really easy to change back to 8.6 version

I also made a 1.3 downgrade a long time ago, a little while before @Nekiro released his
Was thinking about migrating Masiyah to 1.3, but I ran into an issue where movement felt weird and I couldn't be bothered to investigate it at the time, and never did anything with the downgrade anymore. No idea what other issues I might have ran into down the line. Releasing it in the state it was in didn't feel very useful to do, and then Nekiro came around with his own downgrade that he released (and there was also Ninja's 1.2 downgrade)
Ended up taking a different approach and pretty much upgraded our 0.3.6 engine to the point where it's comparable to TFS 1.x, it's what Ascarus runs today
