We present a preview version of our servers list. Servers and statistics are updated on a regular basis. You can browse and adding servers. This is not the final version and it is stripped of many functions. We have made it available to collect feedback, comments, opinions, bugs and learn about the behavior of our systems under real conditions. Currently, there may be bugs and distortions of statistics due to disabled "anti-spoof" system. We will be soon analyze any servers and train our systems to detect, let's call it gently, "anomalies" in the number of online players. Servers with detected spoof will be marked with a special flag and will not be highly positioned on the server list but will not be removed from it.

otservers will be officially released in 2021/2022. Until then, it is is a preview version. Some information about the servers (in particular: multipliers, information about allowed bot / multiclient) may not be true.

If you have any questions, suggestions, comments or just want to chat - contact us.

Yours sincerely,
otservers team.

really nice one, specially the statistics part, I just think the header part (the part people see when entering the website) is a little too big so it is not so intuitive that there is a list bellow, and also please provide an alternative light version theme (not everyone is a dark theme lover 😁) but other than that, nice project, hope it doesn't die out like every other, and if you need help with pt-br translation I might be able to help a little just send me a pm

I think we will add a white theme in the next update. We are currently trying to do something new, and don't want to copy other well-known pages.

Navigating through the lists 1,2,3,4 .... is somewhat uncomfortable, since the page does not fit correctly, but in general the whole site looks wonderful

Aimed to milk community or to help community?
Site looks good. I like it, modern, has some nice features and it has dark mode.
I hope it is not for milking, although surely the developers of the site will want a pizza at the end of the day
:D

More help community and refreshing society of server list.

Registered, tried to add my server.
Turns out its already added:

But I cannot change description, or exprate etc. It says 5x, but its really stages from 20x to 4x with plateau levels at 30x.

When you click "Play now" to enter the website of the server, I want to change the destination URL and apply params
(etc ?ref=otserversonline to the URL).
So I can use referral system to benchmark the list, have the ability to add special bonuses etc from players coming from this source.

To avoid fradulent entries and misinformation, it should be possible for me to take over an entry. (after proving im the owner of server), and give additional server information on the site so users can make a better decision.

The list should be filtered by ping range instead of just ascending, descending. Especially since ascending is broken with n/a values.
When filtering by ping range, the list should be ordered by another colum.

Lets say I want a filter on ms - 1 - 70 ping (latency)
And in this range, I want to show the list ordered by players online.

That way you see the most popular server that is within your ping tolerance in an orderly manner.

Wow, Im impressed with the page

I like what I am seeing so far
Initial thoughts below, ignoring the obvious issues mostly

For gamers:
  • Shrink initial stats & message and/or make it collapsible and/or make it optional a la "dashboard"
  • Search filters e.g. by country - potentially you can auto-tag each server by their host country name and use the existing systems
  • I assume that in the future the intention is to be able to change region to e.g. NA or SA to get a more useful ping readout for servers

For creators:
  • I'd love to see a server list support creators further by giving them a platform where they can publish blog-like update posts for their game
  • You could monetize the above by having a public news-feed type section where creators could choose to promote their 'blog' post for a small fee
  • Personally i'd be against there being any way for players to comment on or up/down vote etc. - that is a difficult subject though and I was reluctant to even write it here
  • I am concerned to see the login host IP resolved for server domains, and as far as I can tell your service is querying the resolved IP rather than the provided domain name. This is problematic for a few reasons that I'd be happy to discuss further - but in short i'd suggest always querying the domain name rather than its original resolved ip
  • As znote mentioned we need a method of taking over / securing our entries - perhaps something new we can add to our statusservers

Hello Otlanders!

I am Kazelot, the lead founder and developer of otservers. I have been associated with open tibia servers and Tibia itself for a very long time. One day, at my friend Rafał (I greet you, because you will definitely read this), I had an idea to set up my own server list. A long time has passed since then, there have been many versions and concepts, and eventually we ended up with far-reaching plans to create a new, extensive platform. However, I cannot provide any details at the moment.

The otservers project is not finished yet. There was also no plan to release the server list as it is now. It seems our close support Dedefere was looking forward to and prematurely published our app.

Sorry for not posting an official announcement or any details, but we are surprised (positively) to see the otservers posted by Dedefere.

However, in order not to leave you with anything, I will answer all comments and questions. Please note that this is not the final version and most of the features you mentioned here are already added in the development version or there are plans for the future (before the official launch).

Navigating through the lists 1,2,3,4 .... is somewhat uncomfortable, since the page does not fit correctly, but in general the whole site looks wonderful
Honestly, it pissed me off too - it had already been turned into standard pagination.

Aimed to milk community or to help community?
Site looks good. I like it, modern, has some nice features and it has dark mode.
Is it possible to harm the community more than the most popular (yet) server list? I have very friendly intentions.

I hope it is not for milking, although surely the developers of the site will want a pizza at the end of the day
I hope we will all help ourselves to this slice of pizza!

Adding servers and editing information:
The same server cannot be added twice. Most of the servers are already on our server list. It is not yet possible to assign a server to your own account and edit server information. As I have already mentioned - otservers was supposed to remain hidden.

Ping/Regions:
When otservers is officially released, several regions will be available. Then it will be possible to choose from which region the ping should be displayed.

The social media module, livechat for each server is ready, but not published yet. There are also plans to add the ability to search for companions to play on a specific server or all.

There is no point in writing about new functionalities at the moment, because I am of the opinion that you need to do it first and then you can boast about it. Therefore, I am a bit sad about publishing otservers in the version you can see now. But well, it happened.

I would also like to point out that this topic can now be used as an opinion on otservers. However, if you have any comments, please write to [email protected]. This is the only official contact for us.

Thank you all for your attention and for the warm welcome.

This is the beginning of a new, better future for the open tibia world!

I hope this project gains traction. Some improvements to status api of tfs could be made in 1.5 and later.

This list is very good, I hope this project is long lasting.

You could release the function of using the stats on each otserv's website, as this would be a form of dissemination.

Sorry my English.

demand subforum
Well I'd start by not demanding anything, but rather asking nicely!
I think it is unlikely though - the existing subforum for otservlist.org should probably just be removed entirely and links to active server lists be provided in a top menu along side e.g. Tools & OTS Guide.

I have a question to all who read this topic, if otservers.online release V2 (official site) i want demand subforum on otland like Otservlist Discussion (https://otland.net/forums/otservlist-discussion.451/)
If any server list have this possibility i think we can do the same. If any admin/mod see this i would like to ask you to comment on this. Is it possible?
Otservlist was the first open tibia server list that gained popularity and has been the most popular list forever. You've had a website up for 10 minutes and you're demanding a subforum in the biggest English open tibia forum? Holy shit you're delusional. This speaks volumes about you, your team and your product.
