CipSoft just mass-deleted thousands of players (top-levels)

I think Cipsoft done a favor for those people (I'm not a fun destroyer but....) one of them is my friend in real life he ruined his life divorced his wife, his kids doesn't even know him because he is addicted to real tibia ... the funny part is that even after he got deleted he called me to play some open tibia servers xD

But still kinda depressing to see your 18 years character got deleted.

This is why the game is ruined bro thinking of a game that gives you income insted of having fun?
I play the game to have fun, not income. I’m from London where 250tc is like 30 mins of working on a shit job irl… idk if you read my post correctly or not

Your account is probably flagged anyway and you'll get deleted later. I remember I botted account with some shitty lvls like 50 and eventually after few years it got deleted even after several ban waves and I wasnt using that account anymore.
Yup! A lot of people are selling chars then starting new accounts for this reason. Just check bazaar…

I’ve been using bots since 7.1 (light hack, level spy etc), I know the consequences xd

I know I'm speaking about what you said that people is making income from that game

That's one thing I just don't understand. A lot of South Americans use Tibia as their main source of income. They could easily educate themselves and find remote work. It's not that difficult, honestly. As long as you can learn some English and then pickup a skill like programming, economics, design. They all got computers and internet access, it's all you need to make a living online. Covid-19 proved that.

Playing games should never be considered a job. And if they play to earn a living, then why are they deliberately violating the Tibia Rules? It doesn't makes any sense! They are completely careless.

Brazil is not even that bad. There's so many people from worse countries that earn a nice chunk of money online through remote jobs. If they also can't fix the country they live in then they should move abroad and find a better life somewhere else. Playing Tibia for a few hundred Euros per month isn't sustainable for anyone. A lot of these Brazilian streamers got computers worth a few thousand dollars and they got a few thousand more in TCs in the game. It's not like they are dead broke. They just don't know how to use money correctly or how adult life works (you are supposed to find a real job). At the very least, they could learn how to invest money and use the stock market. But nooo... they decide to farm monsters in a game from 1997.

In my opinion, all the players that use Tibia as their main (or only) source of income are the laziest people I've ever seen. And they do not think long-term. If CipSoft didn't delete them, they would continue to play Tibia until they are 40-45 years old. Imagine being 40+ years old and earning 300-500 Euro per month from a 2D game. That's pathetic! They are wasting their time and ruining the game for everyone else.

The only ones I could sympathize with were the Venezuelans a few years ago when they literally earned $6 per month on average with closed borders and a socialist government, but that's improved a lot in recent years. Brazilians on the other hand doesn't have those excuses and they got open borders.

I can't even imagine spending my entire 20's and 30's playing Tibia for a living, all day every day, with no plans for the future. And no plan to get any type of education or to improve my family's life. These people are careless and lazy. They deserve losing it all. Maybe then they will wake up and get a job.

I think this move of Cipsoft in order to get rid of the job-players will affect even more OTServers.
Actually I think it is already affecting... Nowadays OTServers are just about people farming runes to sell, or selling "services" to up level.
For job-players, it is perfect world, just because they earn as much as possible and just quit and go to another server. This is destroying all servers nowadays. Miracle is their target for now, when they decide to quit, probably the server will start to loose players. On normal-players side, they need to stop playing on farmers-servers or just accept that it is normal to play in a server with 50 real people instead of 800 vpn-farmer-job-players.
The server owners always want to build something and say "my server is NOT PAY-TO-WIN!!!one!111!!!" but they allow farmers to turn the server into pay-to-win
But I have to disagree that it is easy for the job-players to get rid of this source of income. Most of them are just using this as a motivation to keep their addiction to this game and say "this is my job", but I remmember on Medivia around 2016, the venezuelans used to sell runes, and at that moment they definitely did not had any other option in their lives

Diegothais has mysteriously been undeleted now. Hours after this happened, one of his helmets appeared for sale on the Antica market for 12 billion gold coins. But the weirdest thing is that he still hasn't logged into the game. How did he make the sell offer? The house belonged to him. When he was deleted, all the items in the house was deleted as well. When he was undeleted, the items should have been sent to his inbox I assume? But why did they not reassign the house ownership to him? What is going on?

Unless he quickly had time to parcel the items to a secondary character before he was deleted - and used that character to place the item on the market.

Or is it just a strange coincidence that a winged helmet appeared on the Antica market after he was undeleted? Perhaps the sell offer is from someone else?

Did CipSoft make the sell-offer - as a money sink?

So many questions left unanswered!

He did not have the only winged helmet in the game. This item, like all of the old items, was duped like crazy back in the day - less than the golden helmet, but it was nevertheless. It is not necessarily his winged helmet for sale. Ockham's razor.

It’s been a while since I’ve read so much nonsense packed into a single post! Seriously, did you take some intensive course on “How to Post Nonsense” or is this pure natural talent?

You must be a legend in financial management, the visionary who has unraveled the mysteries of ‘real life.’ Without a doubt, the very Wolf of Wall Street on the stock market. Oh, and of course, a living example of how to make the most of every second of an absolutely perfect existence. I can even imagine you, with all that accumulated wisdom, taking a break from your perfectly timed routine just to bless the rest of us, poor mortals, with enlightened advice!

And the friends, huh? It must be a real challenge for them to hang out with someone so... pathetic, who always has an answer for everything and still believes that their ‘infallible life philosophy’ is humanity’s ultimate manual. I bet your life is one endless parade of “look how amazing I am.”

But of course, it’s probably that you won’t understand a word of what I’m saying. After all, getting someone with such a narrow mind — and absolute certainty about everything — to see anything different from what they’ve already decided to believe? Impossible.

Deep down, I think you’re just someone full of repressed feelings, right? Always letting others decide everything for you. Every step of your life was planned by someone who clearly wasn’t you. You’ve never had the luxury of choosing, deciding, or even having an opinion — you just followed the script someone else wrote for you. It must be wonderful living like that, huh? Watching from the sidelines while others do what they want with their lives, while you sit there, stuck in a routine that isn’t even yours. Frustrating? Nah, it must be super chill.

Oh, and no, I don’t use Tibia as a source of income, and I also don’t speak English, so I’ll let the translator put my words to you.

Hi. Nice ChatGPT post.

You should perhaps ask ChatGPT how to find a job instead of farming cash in a 2D game from 1997.

I wish you the best of luck in real life. You'll need it.

I don’t need luck in life because I create my own luck.
But to avoid sounding bad, I’ll wish you something as well: I hope you find a great psychologist to help treat the frustration you carry. Imagine living your whole life frustrated, only to find out in the end that there was a way to live better. Just don’t try to teach the psychologist how to do their job.

What are you even on about? Talking to a psychologist because I think adults in their mid-30's, which cheat, extort players and use Tibia as their main source of income, are lazy and pathetic?

Get a job.

Hi. Nice ChatGPT post.

You should perhaps ask ChatGPT how to find a job instead of farming cash in a 2D game from 1997.

you are so X, one of my best friend from brasil does work on tibia and makes around 150$ per day! its level 2000+ by the way.
so let me know where in brasil or venezuela you can make almost 5k$ per month?? so why NOT?

"instead of farming cash in a 2D game from 1997"
making more money than you for real.

Still safe and botting some characters, I lost the amount of mass deletes but maybe 3~8.
Very probably they are catching public and "undetected macro" bot's...
As in any MMORPG game by having a good and private bot it's very hard to their determine something.

Please, don't be dumb by just believing in the "undetected" word on any paid bot lmao.

Real Tibia has been shit for years. What CipSoft did was a good move, however, it was too late. They always do stuff like this 10 years too late. Can't they just kill the game once and for all? It's a trash game these days, with a trash player base. Like 80% of all players only play it to pay their IRL bills. That's not sustainable. There's real extortion going on in the South American/Brazilian game worlds.

Shit players with favela mentality, shit game developers and shit game updates. Just kill it already.

Now they're on the crypto train. They will turn Tibia coins into a crypto currency, Tibia Token, to try and save the game. What an absolute mess.

It's insane that the OT community has so much better folks.

I'm sorry you feel that way. Do you happen to play Tibia to pay your IRL bills?

It’s funny how people have been saying the game is dead for 15 years, yet the company earns more money every year than the year before. At the end of the day, they’re a business, and their focus is on maximizing profits – no matter what the community says.

Funny thing Battleye couldn't detect people who was using Windows 7 Profesional (same people who was able to get pixel colors from Tibia app and do more advanced things such as primitive cavebots)

So if I pixel bot in won 7 is harder to get detected?

The game is dead. The company isn't. Massive difference, which so many (including you) seem to not understand.

The game has lost tons of players. Just because the average Tibian addict spends more on the game today doesn't mean the game is thriving. If you have played the game in the recent 5 years you would realize that the vast majority of players only login to kill bosses and/or use exercise weapons. There's pretty much no new content added to the game anymore, quests are speed-run, people buy characters and don't level by themselves and PvP is damaged beyond repair.

Hundreds of players just login out of habit to chat in the depot and public chat channels. It's a 2D chat client for most. And it's only natural this happens due to the extreme level of depression in the world. Social media, lockdowns and bad economies has led to depression on almost unprecedented levels. People are lonely and seek to their old best friend, Tibia, out of pure habit. Because they feel a sense of familiarity with the game they grew up with. But once they login, they realize the game's dead and their friends moved on. Sad but true reality for a lot of players.

The sooner you realize it, the better. Antica is a perfect example of this. Visit it any time of the day and you will meet dozens of players just idling in Thais, for hours on end. Nobody is playing the game. They just chat.

That might be true (I haven’t played the game in 5-10 years),

but honestly, who still cares except for people like you?

I get it, it was a great time back in the day, but that era is long gone. The company has shown time and again that they don’t care about the community or the players, only about the numbers – like most companies.
That’s my point, yes Tibia is dead but what now?
Posts like yours, long nostalgic walls of text don’t change that. It’s over.

You told me to accept that, maybe you should too.

(No offense.)
