RME Help

So I've returned to mapping after 5 years and I cannot for the fucking life of me get RME to work.
It either freezes when I click others or it won't detect the client.

I've gone and downloaded literally everything I can find on OTland to get it to work, I uncheck file signature and it opens and then hangs on metadata.

Someone help me out and give me step by step before I shoot myself please thank you.
I want to use near latest sprites.

Dont shoot yourself, there is no need for violence

Download RME 4.1.2 from the OTAcademy github
DAT and SPR should be in there somewhere otherwise you can find it here
i also installed the RME 4.x modification and works wonders.

I downloaded the RME from OTacad, but no exe inside, do I copy those files into the RME folder?
Also ty for saving me from violence.
