Today I am releasing my server based on the old Bronson Server (which in turn is based on LOTR).
The server was built using the TFS 1.5 Downgraded by Nekiro as a foundation, and on top of that several modifications were made.
For those who are not familiar with the server, here is a brief summary:
It is a Lord of the Rings–based server, with custom vocations and promotions, items, quests, map, and unique systems.

  • Custom Vocations: Druid, Knight, Paladin, Sorcerer, Miner, Orc, Elf.
  • Rarity & Attribute System: Items roll dynamic stats (crit, leech, resists, etc.) across rare/epic/legendary tiers.
  • Forging & Mining: Multi-step crafting (mining items, upgrading it, and advancing weapons attack values.
  • Custom Content: Unique bosses, items, quests, and QoL features like autoloot, exercise weapons, staminer refiler.
Notes:
  • There is no God account; you create it when you are installing MyAAC.
  • I don’t remember for sure, but I probably created the Orc, Miner, and Elf sample characters manually.

Whenever a creature dies, there is a percentage chance for the dropped item to become a Rare, Epic, or Legendary item. When this happens, the item receives new attributes or improves its existing ones.
I had to change the original script a lot to make it work with this server.
Example of a Legendary item, which received the attributes Attack +9 and Life Leech Chance +17%:

A system similar to Tibia Global, where those who help in the boss fight receive rewards based on points/ranking.

I changed the speed formula for characters, making it closer to the values from the old days. This prevents very high-level characters from having bugged speed. Here is a chart showing the old values (blue) and the current server values (orange).

I rewrote in the core how and which attributes appear in the item description, making it easier to read.

  • All the stones scattered around the map are “mineable” using a pick.

  • Only Miners can mine.
  • The higher the difficulty of the hunting area, the better the stones you can find.
  • There is a 20% chance to fail the mining attempt, and within that failure there is a 60% chance of the stone breaking. If it breaks, it will only respawn again 30 minutes later.
  • Some factors reduce the chance of the stone breaking. One of those factors is the club skill: each skill point reduces 0.3% of the total percentage. In other words, skill 100 reduces 30%, making the stone last much longer.

  • Only melee weapons can be refined: axe, club or sword.
  • Only Miner promotions can forge.
  • To refine, simply place the item to be refined on top of the anvil and hit (use with) it using an Iron Hammer

  • If you hit with the Iron Hammer without the necessary refinement items, a message will appear indicating which items are required and the success chance in %.
  • The materials for the refinement must be inside your backpack.
  • The item does not break on failure, however it goes down one refinement level.
  • The refinement anvils can be found at the “entrance” of the city of Moria, next to the Miner promotion NPC, Blacksmith.
  • The maximum refinement is +15.

MyAAC Template:​

I remade the original Bronson website into a MyAAC template. I did not make a plugin that installs the template automatically, so you need to overwrite the original tibia.com template files.

I also made a modification to the plugin “List of Items 5.0 by: endless, slawkens”, where it creates more item categories and also reads all item attributes from the server, items.xml, weapons.xml, movements.xml.

Interactive Map App ( WIP ):​

This is an application that I never finished. As the name suggests, it is an interactive map where you can view all map floors and the creatures (avg) in the respawns. I was going to expand it to also display all server quests, but that feature never got implemented.
You can export the map floors using RME, and for the respawn you can use any AI chat to convert your spawn.xml to the app format.
