As an American, I'm congratulating Brazil on their "very big" accomplishment on having the right to host the 2016 Summer Olympic Games.

No, Brazilians, you didn't get voted because you're better than Americans, nor Madrid, nor Tokyo. You were voted because you haven't had any kind of major sports competition except for 2007 Pan American Games. We've had plenty in USA, there were plenty in Europe, such as the upcoming 2012 London Games, Tokyo wasn't favored through because Beijing just had their Olympics.

So Brazilians, just because you won the vote, it doesn't mean you're the best country in the world or having the best Olympiad ever to face the Earth, you're just overexcited because it's the first games in South America.

But the topic was to let BRs know that they aren't the complete best. I'm just sick and tired of it.
If you looked on Tibia forums, it's flooded with BRs saying they are the best in the world, blah blah, USA sucks, blah blah, we pwned USA, blah blah, BEST OLYMPICS ever, even though it hasn't even started.

In my opinion the only country that should have the right to host the Olympic Games is Greece. Greece is their birthplace and I'm proud to be one of the 70 thousand people that shouted "Olympic Games, welcome home!" when they were hosted in Greece, on 2004.

Rio is one of the most beautiful cities in the planet. City where is one of the seven new wonders of the world. City where is the 3º largest company in the Americas and the largest company in Latin America (Petrobras).

Do you want talk about crime? It just shows again that you don't know what you are talking about. Chicago is the city that has the highest rate of homicides across the USA.

I almost forgot this: take a look at Zeitgeist and you will know who have a brain the size of a peanut.

Just because a city hosts one of the largest companies of another country or of its own country doesn't make the city any better, especially when it IS filled with drugs, sexcapades, poverty, and a lot of negative insinuations. Anyway, Brazilians clearly don't have the best behavior when it comes to how they act in the gaming community, not just Tibia. But neither do a lot of people from other countries like the USA and Sweden, and no, I'm not being prejudice. My point is, there needs to come a point where you take what people say with a grain of salt. Let them rejoice and have their moment in the spotlight. When 2016 comes around, if the world even exists then, then we'll see how exactly they pull of the Olympics. You never know, Brazil just might boast the world's economy by then. Anything is possible.

I live in van, all streets are basically closed, packed to shit it's gonna be chaos. I'm reting my place and going on holidays.
