Now, I have been with otland for a long time.

OtLand - Rules

This doesn't specify alot. I think you should good clear rules about posting. You do post some rules for some sub-forums or category's.

You should make all good clear rules: OtLand - Rules
there, that way when people get infractions, or banned, moderators can say "Banned for violating the rule 1C" (Example)

I hope you guys take this into deep consideration.

Anyone else like this? Voice your opinion please!

Use your brain, how would you act if we were all stuck in a little room? :]

You have to be clearer with the people the read again words won't help they with that.

@Topic
As you can see rules won't get updated today, so all you can do now is be reasonable and posting with a qualified behaviour.
When you receive an infraction or get banned for something we tell you the reason and try to be the clearest way possible to explain why are you wrong and we are right.

What is forbidden? Obvius things, here is when Feloth words make actions. Use your brains: everybody knows that spam, porn, etc. and some people is learning about advertisements, are not acceptable in OtLand.

We always notify members with a reason in the message when we warn, infract or ban. But some rules that are not officially written and are in some post in a sticky somewhere in the forum, so it would be good to have it added aswell to the rule page.

Some rules would make the job of the moderators a lot easier and better.
As they could simply point out the rule the user broke they won't have to have a discussion turning into a "your abusing your powers" fight.

Rules on a forum should be common sense, morals, and manners. Besides if they had a strict rule system then people would just look for loopholes, a more relaxed one is better because it makes people behave just incase.

can someone tell me what is considered spamming in this forum?

SPAM is considered OFF TOPIC, ONE WORD REPLIES, POSTS THAT CAN AND SHOULD BE DONE THROUGH PM.
That doesn't mean when you go to reply to a topic and say " But why do you like such and such" If they didn't post they didn't post it. It is spam to reply to a post that lets you know you are spamming!

Replying to threads you have no idea what they are about is spam. Typing you can't help is spam. Typing just to let others know they are off topic is spam. You don't need to reply to every single post because most times it becomes SPAM and could be done through PM. I am more then willing to go through people's posts and point out the spam.
