Why shouldn't we eat meat?

you need meat to grow and be able to do everything you want to do..
without meat you need pills that replace those minerals you can't get from vegetables..
and where do those pills come from?
That's right... animals
if you avoid those pills and only eat vegetables you'll not grow as you should, your body will have problems heal damages and lots of more hints..
Ofc it's fully possible to just eat Fish instead of meat, But.. Fish is an animal as well... why is air breathing creatures more worth then something that swim?

You do realize bears are classified as carnivores. They have a main diet of vegetation though. And polar bears eat only seal and walrus. Secondly, you can't compare a species lifespan to another, every species has a different lifespan.
Animals do kill others to survive. Did I say they didn't? We must also eat other animals to survive. You realize that world hunger is still a major issue? Livestock provides a huge asset to aiding this. So to save the animals we should let our species starve? If you want to talk about overpopulation maybe you should read The Modest Proposal by Jonathan Swift.

Come on poor people do not need meat, its not even cheap, there are lots of other foods to replace it, i could accept, AFRICA people starving to death to eat meat cause they really need it but not us just cause it has good taste, and make those fucking meat sellers even richers..

Ok I don't see what your getting at about the bears, I didn't think it was possible to mumble on a forum but you did.
When it all comes down to it, we in fact could survive as a whole without eating a single animal. But the animals would die anyway. Why would we take care of domesticated animals such as cattle and sheep. Most are not dairy cattle and would prove very costly to keep alive just for the fun of it. We could release them to the "wild" somewhere but then they would die since they are domesticated. So tell me your plan for saving all the animals from the good animals that will kill them and the evil humans that will kill them.
In that case obiously we would need biologists researching the topic (food chains, where to place them, would they addapt) and since im not one i can't tell you that, maybe just instead of keep destroying natural enviroments to build, place them there?
What else is to discuss?
