Who's ready and going to buy one of the greatest war film of all time in Blu-Ray?

The film is notable for the intensity of its opening 27 minutes, which depict the Omaha beachhead assault of June 6, 1944.
When this part is in extremely high definition cd disk (blu-ray) and is viewed on a high definition TV, this part is going to be the most intense vision ever.

If you've never seen the movie, you have to get it, it's one of the top 10 must see films before you die.

Blu-Ray release date: May 4th, 2010.

I bought this movie and watched it, oh my fucking god, it's still my greatest movie I have ever seen but this time it's improved and much farther ahead of my second favorite!

Totally worth the 30$.

It is about Captain John Miller (Tom Hanks) on a mission to save the last remaining of the three brothers (Private James Ryan). You'll probably remember it as the opening scene when the Americans stormed the beach of Normandy.
 
Dude heres the reason it sucks...
1) I hate Tom Hanks
2) World War 2 is stupid
Ok Nazis kill a bunch of Jews,Homies,Gypsies,etc and try to take over the world... it was 65 years ago and people need to get over it. Dont get me wrong its pretty sad but still some people need to just get over it.

Also its called a first try and 10 minutes so can you just move on? Will me admitting that my first map isnt good make you feel better about youtself because if it will just say the word and I'll scream it to the world...

This movie has nothing with jew killing in it.
The movie was really awesome, the first time I watched it. :thumbup:
 
I didnt say it did and if you read what I wrote you would know.
I said that stuff happens and people should learn to get over it and shut up about how the holocaust was so horrible. I know that it was horrible but makiing 100's of movies and games about it isnt going to make it better so people should just get over world war 2. People are so stupid about ;therefore, I dont like WW2. Therefore, I dont like the movie.
 
I thought Tom Hanks was the perfect man for it, he's got that mixture of attitude and the nervous factor as well.
It wasn't like he acted retarded like in "Big" and "Forrest Gump".
It was mostly the plot and action thriller that made this movie one of the best in its decade.
 
I agree that there was good action and plot but I just simply dont like Tom Hanks except maybe in "The Green Mile" and "Cast Away" other then that I just cant stand him...
 
How many games have you played about the Holocaust? Just go back to what, 5th grade?

Bro Tom Hanks is a great actor no matter what you say, and hell, SPR was great too, and it was like the 2nd most graphic movie we got to watch in school lol.

#45 best movie according to the biggest Internet Movie Database (260,121 votes, average 8.5/10). I saw the movie at least twice but I think I will download it in 1080p soon to make it even more realistic.
 
I haven't seen the movie, but I can pretty much think that it's something in this direction, One american, thousands of arabs. One shot, 1000 dead. American walks out as a hero? or am I wrong?
