hello.

what the problem is that when im at my mums i go on tibia but it is very laggy and just get kicked every 20 secs and takes like 3 secs to move 1sqm but when im at home its fine so it can't be my laptop, i was wondering if i can do anything on the router to make it not lag. it is a BT Homehub 2.0.

Speedtest.com and post it from ur mothers place. (There is nothing you can do "to speed up your router")

Well it should atleast work to play tibia with your connection :O? Anyhow.. try to use DirectX5 when you play tibia and if i helped you dont forgott REP++

DirectX5 doesn't do a shit and also at home my download speed is like 2.83 lol

Put DirectX5 on.
Then change fps to the minimum.
It should reduce lag, sure your character wont take steps but you'll be able to play.

I was playing on a 128 MB laptop with like 2mbps internet, did this and it worked decently.

Changing graphics mode won't do anything anything about network lag, unless you're on a very low-end configuration.
