    Cannot connect to my own 10.98 TFS server

    I had a similar problem when setting up my server after years away from hosting. What i noticed is that i did not add all the values in the database correctly. Not only do you need to populate all values in accounts table but also player table and make sure the coordinates are correct.

    Yeah, I see what you mean. My idea is to use a modern TFS engine to run the server, but still keep the classic 8.0 feel by using old 8.0 data files — map.otbm, vocation.xml, items.xml, and spells.xml. In short: data stays classic, engine is modern to support the mechanics we need.
