Druid or Sorcerer?

Hello Otland,
As I have only really played knight and paladin on RL Tibia I now wanna try out Druid or Sorcerer.
I will ofc get PACC however note that I play on optional-pvp world. What are the pros and cons of Druid/Sorc? Which one is better to solohunt?

Before anyone asks: I do play optional pvp because I have some friends from old times there and a nice guild to welcome me. As Ive always been the guy who valued the community (even as it got shittier now) and questing together the most optional pvp is still fun for me. Given, that Im the kinda guy to hang hours in depot and chat with ppl^^ Dont get me wrong. I also like PvP and the thrill of it, but bots abusing their power to pk rly sux :/

Sorc is a bit more easy if u want solo hunt only, cuz of the atk spells as mentioned above.
Druid is a bit stronger and a bit more fun to play IMO. But less good in solo hunt I guess
 
Druids aren't stronger than sorcerers but as you said it's fun to play IMO and good at solo hunt too :)

druid is not much difference than sorc nowadays + you can sio so everyone will be asslicking towards you :p

druid:
+teamhunting all the time
+sio services = you get free exp and pots
-earth damage spells kinda suck
-uhs useless and cant make sds

sorc:
+sologuy
+energy damage is neat
-there be many
-not too much party guy so you will have hard time to find blocker
 
They're really similar, but really, when do you need fire? There are countless monsters weak to ice. Dragons, demons, and a lot of monsters are all weak to ice. Fire just isn't as useful unless you plan on hunting in tombs a lot.
 
I've always loved druid because of 2 things; the ice element and sio.
Ice is just more appealing to me, not to mention most common monsters are weak to ice. (e.g dragons)
Then I also like to heal players because it makes me feel useful and wanted :D plus I usually hunt with a knight friend so it works well.
Just depends on personal preference :)
 
I think you've forgot about most important. Sorcerers are dealing 50% more dmg with UE, Waves, Beams etc. Druids have Healing Friend, Mass Healing and Paralyze Runes (as a recompensate)

Sorcerer:
- Can make SDs (you can sell them for shopping price, sometimes more for lazy players, 108gp+ each)
- Deals more dmg with UE, Waves, Beams then Druid
- Elements: Fire + Energy + Death(SDs)
- Have 'Exori mort' (death dmg)
- Have nice spell 'Lightning' which deals 50% more dmg then 'exori vis' and have 2 more sqm range (but it have few sec CD)
- Have three damage over time spells: Curse, Ignite and Shock
- Cheapest end game wands. Over 5 times cheaper then Druid's Rods.
- Easy PVP combo, Hell's Core can hit really hard. 100 MS can do over 500 dmg to players. Druid up to 370, with very low average dmg
- Can heal others with runes only (UH rune is healing for around 90% of Druid's Heal Friend spell)
- Useful PVP reward from INQ: Robe of the Underworld (probably most expensive item from INQ on PVP servers)
- You can hunt almost everywhere solo
- Can boost party members magic level by 1 with Enchant Party
- Sorcerers are more uncommon on NonPVP servers. Playing as a Sorc will give you nice adventage. Players there are looking for Sorcerers for +100% bonus share exp. (Sorc + Knight + Druid + Pala = 100% more exp)

Druid:
- Small Enchanted Saphire are the best way to make money. Better then Ava and SDs. Ppl are often buying them for 700-1500gp each.
- Lower dmg with UE and Waves.
- Haven't any Beam Spells
- Uses elements: Ice, Earth and Death (SDs)
- Have 'Exori moe ico' (physical dmg), awesome for ultra cheap hunt on Warlocks on Demona. You can go there at 80lvl, and hunt them with huge profit.
- Earth spells, except for Earth UE. Don't listen to the others. You can hunt with it Energy Elementals, spawns are always free.
- Very expensive end game Rods. Glacial Rod can costs over 500k on some servers and Muck Rod can be over 300k.
- Useless rare robes: Robe of the Ice Queen and Greenwood Coat
- Have few very useful healing spells: Heal Friend, Mass Healing
- Can use Paralyse Runes and Wild Growth Runes
- There's not much 'Ice weak monsters' which you can hunt very easy with wand/rod only. Don't listen to the others. You will mostly spam SD/AVA/GFB (in 95% cases). Wand will do minimal DPS.
- Bad INQ rewards. Only spellbook which can be replaced very easy
- Lots of very nice and interested hunting places are better for Sorcerers then Druids.


Ofc, both Sorcerer and Druid can use: exori frigo, vis, flam and tera.


For me Sorc > Druid.
A 100 MS with 70ML can do over 1k UE dmg, while Druid up to 840 (only 635 average dmg, becouse of very low minimal dmg).
MS with one Fire Elemental can combo other mage with the same lvl in half second. No way to do that as a Druid.
I wrote this based only on my experience by playing both vocations on most Europe servers.
