Valdareth WAR + RPG Discussion

Valdareth WAR will be releasing in July. (We've not set a date just yet)
What we aim to do with Valdareth is introduce a more retro feel to top-down 2D gaming, what a lot of people grew up playing before Tibia changed it completely with pay2win aspects and so many buttons that it covers the entire screen. Valdareth will have no pay2win options at all, we're trying to be as unique as possible and help push the limits of what a 2D game can / should be.

Valdareth WAR is simple and should help us do the following;
1. Test vocations/class balances and design
2. Refine our PvP mechanics and core gameplay
3. Build a strong active community
4. Gather player feedback
5. Prepare the foundation for the RPG server experience.

During the release of Valdareth WAR, we will be releasing a Val comic book week by week to explain the lore of Valdareth RPG, along with video animations a lot like RIOT does for League Of Legends. We want people to actually enjoy the lore of VAL and make it more simple to follow.

Valdareth WAR Vocations

These are the default characters for ValdarethWAR for the moment, while we do animation and balance changes to what our core vocations/classes will come to be.

Paperdoll System

We are using a unique "paperdoll system" for Valdareth WAR+RPG, this will not change.
Any piece of equipment that you are wearing will show on your character.
​

Races

In Valdareth, we have four races based on starting city.
Human, Otter, Tiger and Turtle. (Paperdoll System works on these races as well).
