Hoster Search a hoster for my 8.60 RL-Map server [Dedicated] I will split 50/50
you need at least 1 Gb/s to have any chance for small DDos attacks.. if you have less than 1 Gb/s it doesn't really matter if it's 1 mb/s or 200 mb/s.. because if someone wanna DDos that, it will die really fast. most DDosers can't pass more than 500 mb/s atm, but there are a very few who can... -

when the key people retire, some new fresh and young person will take over in one or another way. lots of people want to be skilled as a "key person".. and therefor a lot of people give it a try and really try to improve themselves for years.. Don't get angry, it wont help you. RL Tibia is more or less gone already.. there's like 5 000 players left in there, (PLAYERS, not programs). If a terrorist steal your pet and ask 5 million for it, if you pay him... a lot more terrorist will come to try the same thing. Now when I've put this...- Cs Server

The worst thing a game can do, is to try to refund players for some problems. Even if it wasn't your fault you died, it's not the server owners either.. it's the attackers. Refunding items to players, is one thing that normally kills the server within a soon future.- Cs Server

OK.. This is REALLY ANNOYING....
I had same problem some time ago.. I upgraded the server from 100 Mb/s to 1 Gb/s, from there it was only PRO DDosers that could make noticeable attacks. But when I moved to 10 Gb/s line, not even the Pro ones could keep up, as the worst DDoser I've seen can reach 6 Gb/s, which leaves 4 Gb/s...- Cs Server

A player can debug my otserver ever when want
he uses a bot that make the player say more than 255(?) letters... which will debug the client.. you need to go through C++, and make it impossible to say more than 255 letters. -

maybe because you can't play normal PVP today without getting random PK:ed by people that haven't play tibia for real for the last 10 years, or being power abused out from your spawn 5 times/day...... and so on....- Cs Server
