Hello! Here's a few things I done on past year for PxG (PokeXGames). Here's Darkrai, the Boss from Nightmare World update. "Survive the Nightmare World" There's a long time I don't post pokemons btw. The outfits for the Global Tournament 14, everyone who joined it received one :D Made these...

Ingame screenshots are resized unless you shrink the game screen, clients also have AA enabled in general. Original sprite made in 96x96.

I understand your point, As I post on Facebook also, I usually work with more sharpness on focal point (sprite) and blurr on the aroundness (bg), making the details and sprite itself stand out. The second is another version with less changes, and we can push it even further changing even more...

Not bad, maybe you could use more of the 32x32 canvas :)

There's many different styles and paths to do the same thing, there's no ultimate guide but a lot of practice.

I like how you defined the global shading, great improvement!

    starting with sprites

Start with the very basics with your own work. I believe you can do it :) If you just do few pixel edits and changing colors of someone else sprite you aren't doing anything, nor will learn how to sprite properly. It's useless to ask feedback if you're just doing copy and paste of Anevis...

It's cool, just take a look at these few points - Increase the size for better reading - It's a bit noise, try to use more pixel clusters. - More contrast between the colors. It's ok to use a lot of colors, but you need to avoid noise or blurry effects in order to readability

I agree. Actually the wings were made in 96x96, had to resize to work ingame then I hadn't planned a good space on canvas to make animations in order to lose less quality. Btw, next models will be done in proper 64x64 size. That and another few points gonna be improved, so it will look even...

    Ochmar, 0 - 365

First problems are values. You need colors with a good contrast. Values are the LUM property of a color. The shield colors have no contrast, check it better by looking at the values on grayscale. Try to paint the shield with the new values, don't be afraid to add more colors if you feel it...

32, 35, 40, 45 have a lot of potential in my opinion. Maybe it would be cool to slow down the rythm and put more effort in the painting of those good designs.

I don't think we should elevate someone that's ripping assets as his own, take a look: ______________________________________________________ Crop part of a high-res image, Rotate, Liquify, Resize, Color Adjustment tools, Other small touch tools -> post as own artwork / sell to some lay ot...

@Stanos Funny but besides the "best spriter" I don't see anything related to me. If you have to subscribe it's not free. If you gonna promote yourself as artist, credit the textures or point what you did in the screen instead of claiming it yours.

You can find most of the textures of your works on internet with a lot of variations like this one: It's clearly not done by you, you just need to look at your hand-made sprites, like the mountains and borders and notice the difference. That's all.
