OTClient V8 - Soundtrack
Not sure what happened to background sound but it was removed at some point. Maybe it had issues with bot sounds (alarms etc) OTC have this functionality and older OTCv8 had it too. Might want to check their forums/discord for better help. -

Which mapping style do you prefer? 1 or 2
2 is way too irregular to use with cobblestone/city grounds. I think some dirt-like sprite would fit better. I wouldn't use just 1 floor type either - Have a combo of 2 but some city grounds doesn't have too good borders. I would try a combo of Venore Cobblestone or Terracota + something else... -

Pretty much the same. I could deal with hotkeys, I could deal with mounts, outfits or other minor things being added/changed at that time (mostly around version 8/9) but any form of p2w/f2p tactics like the ones you mentioned is a no-no for me. Nowadays the game is just an aberration for me... -

Windows RME Problem
I'd say your GPU is artifacting if it wasn't because that looks like an actual screenshot and not a phone pic and the artifacting seems to be limited to the render area. RME runs on OGL so you shouldn't need anything other than your GPU drivers to make it run. Have you actually tryed to clean...
