Its hard to host 2 servers and maintaining them, the amount of time spent on catching every cheater would be really hard to do on 2x servers, which means that one server wouldn't get as much attention as the other one :)

People tend to forget how it was back in the days, though something I noticed had a huge different starting playing was changing your keyboards reaction to full speed, the "lagg" dissappeared
