Try to recompile TFS and look on globalevents on save.lua. Maybe disable this option fix your problem. I'm not sure, you have to try all of the ways.

Yep, internet is not required for offline game. You can set even sqlHost = mysql - if you have Apache and MySQL you can play with database and apache (WWW) on offline :)
