We weren't up very long, we had 2 different crashes and decided to solve that instead of let me continuously repeat :) But yeah, this is an unadvertised beta and we didn't want 800+ players like last time due to fear of possible crashes. We knew we had 1 mysterious crash lurking around that...

As this is true, and I do agree it is something that most servers fail at, I want to leave a comment about feedback. People should understand, when we ask for feedback or input about something, we hash out the details for a long time and talk with a lot of players / teams. Once a choice is made...

Luckily for you we already have something in the works specifically for our server. So even if you have a cardboard computer, you could still record 1080p footage. We'll go into more details when we get close to providing it to our players, it won't be ready at server launch though.

I would then suggest upgrading from a Pentium II processor to at least a dual-core processor. :eek:

We're not launching with Krailos. Everyone wanted the server launched now instead of later so it'll be a major content update later on. Unlike some aforementioned servers, we actually do updates.

If you're disinterested in our first world, keep an eye on our progress over the next few months and we might open a higher rated world for the Gaz'haragoth OT players. :)

Yeah unfortunately we're blocking cmd -> "ping theoxserver.com -t" so you can't test it there. However, if you have XenoBot (or any other bot that shows your ping) you can test it out this coming weekend. My ping to the server from Texas is roughly 120-125. My ping to Cipsoft's European servers...

Damon is in our Discord if you need him, we tested 2 of his stressers at the same time and OVH stopped them both within milliseconds. In other words, the server didn't even flinch. ;)
