yeah like dominique120 said you'll have to pay extra money if you are planning to host ots,learn linux. there are many tutorials here

you dont have to configure ports or anythng it comes with an ip address it's better if you rent a vps first since u are a beginner. it works same as dedicated servers but its slower and a lot cheaper
