Windows dedicated host

Hello,
Is there anyone that has experience with dedicated hosts?
I wonder how it works do I need to configure the ports first etc? And how do I add custom IP?
And do I have to install xampp on it etc etc got tons of questions about it.

you dont have to configure ports or anythng it comes with an ip address
it's better if you rent a vps first since u are a beginner. it works same as dedicated servers but its slower and a lot cheaper

Yes it does but usually you have to pay extra for windows.

if you are planning to host ots,learn linux. there are many tutorials here

I just want to host my ot server and website on a dedicated host, I dont care what it is. I learn fast so anyone who could add me on skype give me a decent dedicated host link ?

I purchased a host at kimsufi.com we'll see where it goes ;/
