Lua 0.3+ scripts - features with 0.2.10

Before I waste my time on it I was wondering if anyone could tell me if features like talking signs, tiles etc and all the effect scripts from a version 0.3+ server will work on the TFS 0.2.10 ?

I really like the flashy magical effects n stuff from the 8.60 server and I want it in the 8.7. The TFS 0.2.10 is pretty basic and bare.

No, scripts are not cross-compatible between 0.2 & 0.3.

They will work, you just need to add alternatives in global.lua as 0.3+ compat libs
