chmod -R 3777 src << 3777 or 777
It's chmod -R 777 as 777 does specify the permissions for rwe (read, write, execute).

Furthermore make sure you have the following dependencies installed:

Code:
sudo apt-get -y install luajit
sudo apt-get -y install git cmake build-essential liblua5.2-dev libgmp3-dev libmysqlclient-dev
libboost-system-dev libpugixml-dev
sudo apt-get -y update

"The -mt suffix had been removed. The installed Boost libraries are multi-threading safe.

so should i just duplicate the libs and add mt into the name?

and idk how to set this up to compile with luajit but i do have it installed

Anyway as you've mentioned you were running into compiling issues I'd suggest you to do a fresh re-compile as you now have all the necessary dependencies.

Also make sure to setup&configure mysql correctly in order to establish a database connection!

ill have to play with it again tommorow. if i do another fresh one ill have to redo my source edits. and im tired tonight ;/

I honestly would like to tryo to compile it with luajit but someone says you have to build it first? lessair i believe?

I had the same problem with tfs 1.2
On ubuntu 15.10 (virtual machine) it was fine, when I upgraded to 16.04 by an accident I can't compile tfs anymore.
Tried to apt-get libs again but it didn't work.

The -mt suffix had been removed. The installed Boost libraries are multi-threading safe.

yes, I can create symlinks, just don't know where the files are and where they should be ;p
I'm nub in linux xd

From my understanding the "mt" is obsolete and is not on the system at all. I think what the quote was saying you can copy the non "mt" version of the file and change the name and it will work

But i am currently trying to figure out how to either compile without these by editing the source. OR! idk figuring something else out

Code:
checking for main in -lboost_thread-gcc-mt... no
checking for main in -lboost_thread-mt... no

checking for main in -lboost_regex-gcc-mt... no
checking for main in -lboost_regex-mt... no

checking for main in -lboost_system-gcc-mt... no

So by going to the "libboost_thread.so" I made a copy, pasted it to Desktop. I renamed it libboost_thread-mt.s. and moved it back with the original file "libboost_thread.so" so that both files are together.

And in return.

Code:
checking for main in -lboost_thread-mt... yes

So now I'm going to try and do the rest and see where that leaves me.
