Basic Informations:
Benera is a 8.0 real map server with custom and attractive additions to it. It is being made with a lot of passion and knowledge to make sure every players that visits it will be pleased in some or another way. The main focus of this project is to recreate structures and systems in a proper way and add some of them that are improving the quality of gameplay and world. This project has been working on in the background since late 2020. As of now it is finished in around 80% and test server is yet to come out.


Server features and systems:
Quests: Starting from the beginning. Benera includes every quest that existed before 8.0 and on this version, including those which are still missing on “polished” servers for eg. Waterskin of Mead Quest, Mastermind Potion Quest etc. Each one of them works as it should and contains correct items, amount of gold, valuables, dialogues. Also added new quests that are going to be listed on the website later on.

Questlogs: Fully completed, detailed and accurate questlogs including specific ranks and things that you can do after each mission (eg. access to new islands, particular doors, price changes – postman quest, ect.) and do after reaching each one of them.

Task system: Added a cool feature in the form of a number of executable tasks, depending on how many you have done - it changes rank starting from the “beginner” and ending on the “legend”. Appropriate highlighting depending on whether it is completed, in progress or waiting.

Additionally, depending on the number of "repetitions" performed, the stars on the monster will automatically fill up - from grey to gold.

Items Library: Containing every possible detail of an item(required level, magic level, range, weight, armor, attack, defense ect.) expanded by NPC buy/sell list and cities, every quest in which you can obtain it, exact amount and table of monsters that drops it.

Auto-loot System: Speaking about Items library it would be a good idea to mention the auto-loot system because it is directly connected to it (you can choose items that should be looted or skipped from the monster)

Stackable mana/life fluids and runes: What separates Benera is that the manafluids and lifefluids are not made as health potions or mana potions like on the others servers which have stackable option, to ensure it stays the right old-school way and gives proper feeling – the weight also have been changed in order to not affect the gameplay. Runes are stackable up to 100 even if u create them by yourself.

Achievements: Benera has an unique system which includes over 100 “regular” achievements but you can also get exclusive rewards obtainable only via that method by doing certain things (completing quests, monster kills, items, bosses ect).

Mounts: It is a cool feature and an addition to tibia but it should be obtainable in a different way than just being forced to buy them via shop in order to gain an advantage. Benera will include couple of systems in which you will be able to get them.

  • Renting a mount: You will be able to get a mount simply by renting it from NPC (just like RL tibia does). The time that you will own it equals 24 hours and requires 500 gold in order to do that.
  • Achievements: The second way would be via the achievements system which was mentioned before. It will include unique mounts and you won’t be able to buy them. There will be a tracker built inside the client and “claim reward” button.
  • Game Store: Obviously the easiest way but not necessary.

It is worth mentioning that there is an option for old-school players that hides all mounts on the screen.

Two-Factor Authentication(2FA)- In order to make sure your account is safe, you will be able to secure it via 2FA Authentication system. (Works on website and client).

Cam system: System that records players gameplay at the server side into file which can be opened later by player attached to client from that server.

Loot Analyzer: Displays information on the total amount and type of looted items, as well as the gold value of looted items based on NPC price.

Attention to details: Benera includes described names of signs, blackboards, graves, statues and books (most of them are from real 7.7 cipsoft files but the rest was filled up from higher versions and real tibia (Liberty Bay, Svargrond, Nargor ect)

New monsters, items and spawns: To make sure you won’t get bored playing the “same” map all the time there were added new spawns, items and monsters in order to diversify the gameplay.

Bosses:

  • Daily Bosses- Benera have 4 daily bosses with unique and complex mechanics for 50,100,150 and 200 level which are yet to be tested out. “Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse”. Videos will come as soon as they are done.
  • World Bosses- They might drop a loot exchangeable for unique cosmetics such as outfits/mounts.

Balance/Spells:

  • As one of the few OTserver on the Tibian scene, we have spell formulas 100% compatible with Tibia RL version 7.4-7.92.
  • All spells and runes, except for those introduced in 8.0 (exori, exori gran, exori hur, exori con), work as per v7.92.
  • Spells introduced in version 8.0 have undergone minor modifications in order to adapt them to the remaining balance (more important in dealing damage is the character level as it was on versions older than 8.0, but the skills are still very impactful).
  • Poison storm is now an instant spell which does damage and poisons the target.
  • Added Diamond Arrow for Paladin (level 150 or higher).
  • Burst arrow - in the case of magic professions work in accordance with version 7.92, in the case of paladin and knight - with version 8.0.

Few custom changes:

  • Shared experience bonus only if you have 4 different professions (20%).
  • Reduced stamina from 56h hours to 42h and changed the bonus from 50% (2 hours) to 20% (3 hours).
  • Added possibility to travel via ship without having money in backpack (it takes it from the bank) - only in PZ room.
  • Added blessing option to Henricus, but only after completing The Inquisition Quest (price have been changed to 75k instead of 50k), which means its 50% higher
  • No PZ on carpets
  • 5% more experience for having a cast.

The server looks promising, I hope the exp rate and pvp enfo will be properly adjusted to the gameplay. It looks very cool so far, keep it up.

Server will be hosted in Europe - as for now at least.

If we are talking about the rates - I'm pretty convinced that it will be a high rate since it encourages more people to try and play but I'll inform regarding to that in the nearest future.

It promises to be one of the best OTSs in the Tibia arena in history.
For years I have been waiting for a decent 8.0. As in reality everything will look like in the description, then Kasteria or Realera may be outclassed ;)

On the real 8.0 there was no green stamina bonus at all, so I wasn't complaining about. And when it comes to shortening the time, it is to prevent several people can't play in one character. No one normal plays so much that 42 hours of stamina is not enough for him xD

I can't give you a specific timeline yet, but if I had to somehow define myself - test server will come out after the website is done (and it's not that far away).

Since I haven’t posted anything lately here are some updates regarding to the project:

  • Website and test server will be hopefully available in the upcoming week (exact date will be released later on)

  • Added new feature – Damage Analyzer in order to further help you examine fights/wars – damage received ect.​

  • Bosses - In the main post I've mentioned that there are 4 daily bosses (Four Horsemen of the Apocalypsee) yet to be tested out. As of now they are almost done. The core “mechanics” were taken from the Secret Library Bosses then they were remade into my own ideas to make the fights even more interesting and encouraging.


War(50 lvl)
At the beginning of the fight the boss has a 99% reduction so make sure you are not attacking it. There are also few of it's minions which you should ignore because even if you kill them - they will respawn.

Instead - your main goal is to focus Stolen Tome of Portals. After you manage to kill it, two teleports are going to appear. One of them will show up at the top right corner and the second one in the bottom left corner. (Note that they last only for 12 seconds – after that time the team that entered inside of them will be sent to the bottom left corner of the room).

One of them leads to a room with an Adept of Immunity and another one to the Adept of Summoning. Killing Adept of Immunity makes a boss vulnerable which means it loses it's reductions and you can start attacking it. Killing the Adept of Summoning despawns all of the minions in the room (which are quite annoying but it’s not necessary to end the fight).

After the boss loses it's resistances, start attacking it till 50%. At that percentage “War” will transform into another form and five wave of fire bombs will start to appear randomly - at the size of quarter of the whole room in the shape of "pizza" slices. Getting hit by them will make you lose 450 hp. At that time just make sure to dodge everything and focus the boss till it is finally dead


Famine (100lvl)
Start by attacking the boss. At 75, 50 and 25% of the boss remaining health, the whole team will be sent to the center of the room with the invincible boss and trapped by Force Fields (they look like Magic Walls).

At this moment, the team should all focus on the same magic wall and kill it as soon as possible to leave the trap, because "Famine" deals massive damage when you are caged inside.

After leaving the room, a Dark Scholar will spawn north of it. Kill it and quickly pick up the item which it leaves (a Parchment of Darkness) because it only stays for 15 seconds. Use it on the Writing Desk on the west side of the room to make the boss vulnerable again.

Shortly after, the players will be trapped in the center of the room again and repeat the previous steps until the boss has been killed.

Worth mentioning is that there are other monsters in the room that are going to constantly attack you (Poison Bloods, Knowledge Seekers, Famine Pillar), but even if you kill them, they will respawn so just try to survive throughout the whole fight. Be aware that there are also Pillars which are going to attack you all the time.


Death (150lvl)
Together with the boss there will be two Bone Jaws at the beginning (they look like Bonebeasts). Once you kill them, they will respawn so don’t bother attacking them. Instead start focusing the “Death”.

Once it reaches 75,50 and 25% of it's remaining health, ie will transform into a Demon form and become immune to every damage. Your goal at that point is to destroy The Book of Death that spawns north of the room to release a Concentrated Death (it's advised that you initially attack the Book until it's on red HP first and then just finish it when required).

Now, you have to line up “Death” with the Concentrated Death, so when it uses its Death Beam (deals around 1k physical damage to a Player so try not to stand in front of him), it will receive a lot of damage as a damage reflecion. (The Concentrated Death dies rather quickly by players and summons attacks, so make sure not to damage it yourself. If it dies, the Book will shortly respawn and you can get another one.)

After the Death Beam hits the Concentrated Death, it will immediately disappear and “Death” will return to his true form becoming vulnerable again. Worth mentioning is that, every time you do it correctly - extra 2 Bone Jaws will appear. There are also spikes that are going to be randomly spawning in the room so try to avoid them.

At 25% after successfully doing the mechanics all of the remaining 6 Bone Jaws will transform into Bone Core. At this point ur goal is to kill the boss as fast as possible becouse Bone Core deals massive damage (but if you kill it – it won’t respawn again).


Conquest (200lvl)
Together with the boss there will be five Wild Hunters spawning in a few seconds after beginning of the encounter. Once you kill them, they will leave a pool of mimic(lasts 10 seconds) on the ground. Every 24-34 seconds, “Conquest” will transform into Archdemon form and become invincible. After 8 seconds he will cast an holy ultimate explosion that hits in the area of a cross 6x6 and deals 2000 holy damage.

This hit, however, can be avoided entirely, and to do so players must step on the existing pool of mimics to gain an appearance of a Wild Hunter. Note that this transformation also lasts 8 seconds , so it’s recommended that you wait about 2-3 seconds after the boss transformation to step on the pool. If you do it too soon, you may not able to renew it until it runs out and will be will be susceptible to the boss UE.

Worth mentioning is that the "Conquest" will keep making you drunk (might need dwarven ring) and the Wild Hunters will keep slowing you - making it even harder to enter the pool. Keep killing the Wild Hunters and attacking the boss while this happens and get him to 25%.

Once you have achieved that, the boss will transform again and teleport to the middle of the room becoming immune to every damage. At that time there will be yellow fire fields randomly placed in the room. Goal for each player is to quickly run and stand on them since they are safe spots. After 5 seconds of a delay the boss will unleash huge wave of holy damage which is unavoidable unless you hide on the field. It deals 1000 dmg for every tick that reaches you. If you manage to survive, just focus the boss till the fight is over.
