Try to reproduce instead of crying, maybe that's your mistake not Lef's, if your server works sucky you're always crying to lef!!

Hey guys, i got a question.
How to use exeption tracet? Afrer i got the generated report with memory adresses and assembler commands?
Im not newbie at programming, but i never used exeption tracers, normally the ide showed me the reasons why the exeption has occured.
Is there a small tutorial?
I need only few hints!
Im using for ot, dev-cpp.
May i maybe run the server in debug mode? But i dont know where to add the adresses in dev-cpp.
Only a small hint will be allredy fine.

Compile the server with -D__EXCEPTION__TRACER flag, and after the crash you will get raport.txt, you may post it at bug tracker section on the forum.
 
But how can i track them myself?
I dident want to trouble someone whit my problems, so i want to be able to find errors and fix them.

Mmm.... items not removing chars (enchanted items) can't create guilds.... :S
 
after i recompiled latest tfs myself, its not chrashing anymore.
But i guess the crashes was my fault, cuz maybe i did forgot to change somethng in my scripts.

You have to replace exe, config.lua and lot of other scripts that are changed. Look in changelog in your docs folder that comes with server.

Anyways, first time it was ok, but after few restarts I can't even login in my ot. wtf?

Server hanged up. I think some one has done it on purpose, since 5 mins earlier I've been threated that he'd crash my server. Using 0.3.3 everything works fine except it's still vulnerable

Server didn't die, it just created 5 mins lag and now it works like nothing happened.

Another one: mysql_store_result(): SELECT `id`, `value`, `param`, `expires` FROM `bans` WHERE `type` = 1 AND `active` = 1;: MYSQL ERROR:

To people which has problem with logging into game: - First solution is to unlock 7172 port, if you have unlocked that and that still happens, wait for lef to release a new patch which will fix that bugs (which happens at real maps).
