I got the same problem but there's a solution (works for me)
install remere's for 8.54, open your map, import that piece and save
then, install 8.6 version and convert it to 8.6
if u have correct items it works perfectly :)

what u mean with correct items !
 
items.xml || otb
as u can see in earlier posts (patrol144 track) u have windows instead of ground etc. with wrong items.
 
my items otb is not compatible with this map, how can i convert from you items.otb to mine without bugs? its impossible? you used remeres 2.0 items otb, i use items otb that come with the private version of forgotten, remeres 2.1 use the same items otb that i have
 
Have you tried it ? I doubt:p
and about retard try it and see what rme will show u will see who is the retard now.:)
