9.0 + Lua? HELP!

I recently updated my ot to 9.46. I have noticed that some of the scripts transfering over do not work for some reason..actually almost all of them. Considering that lua is a language and i do not think it has changed...i am pretty confused. Can anyone help me out? Just give me any sort of idea why these scripts arent working? Thanks, REP++++

For example, something like this just doesnt work now..

function onUse(cid, item, fromposition, itemEx, toposition)
doPlayerAddPremiumDays(cid, 15)
doRemoveItem(item.uid)
end

Something so simple. This wasn't what i was using for my vip on my old server but still. Non of the functions seem to be working. I have also failed to find any sort of premium system on this 9.46 server at all. Sorry for the double post.

and i believe to see your premium days, you must log out then log back in.
