9.8+ sources?

Well not in here, this is for other kind of support.

Actually, I am also interested where I could get them, are they only for donators as well?

Or there are no sources for this ot? I'm also wondering, how does Talaturen gets the newest version of RL Tibia just after the update of rl tibia...

The 9.8+ sources are available to donators in the private subversion.

Thank you very much for this answer which made me happy ;p ...

Ok, atleast Talaturen doesn't keep them for himself only (for shadowcores)... Anyway, does any1 know how does he get the newest stuff so quickly after an update in rl tibia? I mean like, few days after update, he already makes an update on his own ots...

Because he has the programming skills to manually update his servers as fast as possible. Usually he will update his own server and after a while release it into the 0.2 SVN after it's been thoroughly tested.
But to more clearly answer your question: He does it himself :p

1. He has access to test server, so he has an idea of what was changed/added/removed before the actual update is released.
2. He's a developer, he can modify the sources easily, CipSoft does not do a ton of internal changes every update, so it takes a matter of a few days.
3. He has a tool that creates the official OTB file, I would assume it take a couple minutes to convert everything over.
4. Kornholijo developed his own map-tracker, all the new maps were tracked with high level characters.
5. I'm sure he has other "conversion" software out there, like collecting monster data and item/equipment data.
You just need to be really good at everything.

All of the above information is from what I have heard of and assumed.

Lol? So before he realeases it to public, it is actually tested on his server by those hundreds of people that play there?

It is even nicer to know that ;D

But one thing that bothers me pretty much always: if he is publishing the latest updates etc, and it is tested on his server... Why in the name of a potato he hasn't published the 8.6 tfs yet to non premium users? All I always heard when these kkind of questions were asked on daily-basics back in the days was "it is very bugged and we dont want to release something that is bugged to public"... but sure, we already have tibia 9.8 now... 8.6 was ages ago and he still didn't manage to do the things he always does until now??

I know this isn't a thread about this but it kind of turned to be about that xd i dont know how it happened xD

I'm talking about the 0.4 which is in "premium land" only... ;p especially for 8.6 client.

but nevermind that... i got my answer for the question and im happy about it ;d gonna get donator again soon... ;p

Yes, I always test my changes before commiting them which is why 0.2 is as stable as it is today.

0.4 was never meant to be released by me, it's mostly elf's work and was meant to be released by him, but because of the amount of bugs in that version it has been significantly delayed. I've tried pushing them into releasing the final 0.3 (which is what you call 0.4) for quite some time now, but it's still not ready to be released. We don't want to release it when we know that there are still unsolved bugs. It won't ever be released for 8.6 client though because we don't work with older protocols. The reason people think 8.6 is premium only is because they want to use an old revision from the private subversion which we have never claimed to be stable, nor is it being maintained by us TFS developers.
