There's one OTS based on HoMM 3 which is no longer maintained and all the download links to the client have expired a long time ago, but surprisingly it's still being hosted – 9Towns-Beta (http://54.38.132.86)
I'm interested in seeing how this server looks like, but unfortunately I cannot connect to it without the right client (I mean, technically I can, but it's unplayable). So I was wondering: is there anyone who has played there and still has the client somewhere?
