A nice editor for UBUNTU

Hi guys, i'm tired of using Windows, i have decided install UBUNTU, now i'm looking for a good editor with compatibility of syntax for many programming languages like notepad ++ , any ideas?

open terminal and type this in:

sudo apt-get install geany

I use this on Ubuntu and I like it.

I'll try it when I get on Linux, Vim sux, gedit is ok, geany IMO is very good.

If you really can't decide, no problem! Download the latest version of Wine as well as Notepad++ !
