A plausible quest idea?

I have a relatively low exp server where levels like 500-600+ will likely not be possible. I was thinking about an NPC that would give you some missions, and then after a certain one you wait 2 hours and can take a 2 hour quiz and listen to a story for another 2 hours before you can buy the item he sells. When trying to purchase them, he would tell another story for about 2 hours before saying:
Oh, I just noticed that your level must be OVER 9000!
