i'm interesting to use linux but can anyone help me? i use xampp in windows, what is better to use in linux for a sql server ??

Mysql and SQLite is the only one that works propperly. Postgresql is ofcource better tho. I still say you should use Mysql.

No, setup Apache and MySQL individually (you don't need LAMPP)

I'm 99,5% new to Ubuntu.. how do I start the programs?
I mean I've installed them already but dunno where to find them

if you have read guides already, you will notice that to start those process you will have to do it with the console
