After two years of intensive and productive work, I have the pleasure to invite you to join Albania 7.4; a server made by players for the players.

Being a fan of oldschool Tibia, I've always desired to create a server which would capture the atmosphere of older versions of the game, while still gradually introducing new content and changes to gameplay. Server, that is first and foremost a place where players can enjoy themselves, be it by competing with others or by solving mysteries and exploring both oldschool and newly added locations filled to the brim with hidden quests and treasures waiting to be discovered. Finally, the moment has come. I can firmly say that Albania is polished enough to be released to the public. It is time for you, players, to start shaping its history!

New unique challenges

There is a bunch of new quests that were added for players that prefer solving riddles over butchering monsters. These quests were designed in a way so that even novice warriors and frail mages can complete them, as long as they make a proper use of their head!

Players are also given the opportunity to once again face the seemingly unsolvable quests of Rookgaard and Mainland. Who knows, maybe there is a great bounty awaiting for the brightest adventurers?

New (not necessarily clever) monsters

Long years of evolution resulted in a bunch of new species emerging. Some of them strike fear in the hearts of even the bravest fighters.

Some of them...well...

Shared experience system

In many areas, group hunting is not a good idea due to slow experience gain. To tackle this issue, we've decided to introduce a shared experience system.
A monster killed by a group of adventurers will be worth more experience points, as long as the group contains representatives of different vocations.

And so, a monster killed by a group consisting of 2 different vocations will yield 50% bonus experience. For example, a dragon slain by a party of a knight and a paladin will yield 2100 instead of 1400 experience, resulting in 1050 experience per player.

A group consisting of 3 different vocations, for instance a knight, a paladin and a druid, will enjoy a 75% bonus. A dragon slain by them will yield 2450 experience, resulting in 816 experience per player.

Party of 4 players, consisting of every vocation, will receive a 100% experience bonus. A dragon will yield 2800 experience for such group, resulting in 700 points per player.

If the group consists of, for example, 3 knights and 2 paladins, experience bonus will be at 50% (due to 2 different vocations present in the group) and it will be divided by 5, due to 5 players in the party.
In this case, our poor bullied dragon will yield 2100 experience which results in 420 per player (instead of default 280).

WARNING: For the shared experience system to work, the level difference between the highest and the lowest character in a party cannot exceed 33%!
We are convinced, that this system will satisfy all our group (hunting) lovers.

Game client

Thanks to our custom client with a built-in anti-cheat we are able to guarantee you a fair environment. No more encountering cheaters at every corner. However, if any of you will come across an oddly behaving guy, you can report him to our staff. We will swiftly review all cases on a individual basis, in order to avoid punishing innocent people.

Updates

While working on the server we have managed to fix all major bugs. If you will find any smaller issues remaining, report them to us and we will fix them quickly.

We intend to listen to your voice while introducing changes, you'll have the chance to express your opinion through polls. We are planning to update the game regularly, introducing new quests, items, and hunting areas.

Technical stuff

Albania is, obviously, hosted on a dedicated server. It should be able to withstand 1000 concurrent connections with no hiccups.

Thanks to our financial stability, we guarantee that Albania will be online indefinitely. You won't have to worry about your characters even after taking a longer break. The lands of Albania and your characters will be still here waiting for you!

The server is hosted in France.
Task system will be introduced in one of the updates, for sure. Perhaps with a little more complex system than a simple "kill 100 behemoths and get some more exp as if you killed 120 behemoths, not 100".

Looks absolutely amazing will definitely try it out.

Yeah please don't keep it 2x. It's 2x exp but 1x regen and runes are 2x? that's so unbalanced haha. I suggest making staged exp to start, around 4 mana/2s promoted mage.

1-8 = 18x
8-20 = 10x
21-39 = 7x
40-49 = 6x
59-74 = 4x
75-100 = 3x
101-xxx = 2x

I am pleased to present you with another custom feature we've introduced on our server!

Why 2 head dragon is retarded? It seems a bit racist :(
So if hydra have got 3 heads, it's named Very Retarded Hydra? :(

Also just some advice.. if your going for a serious low rate 2x server, naming your monsters with names such as "Retarded Dragon", might not be the best decision. lol

Why everything have to be soooo serious :)?

Retarded Dragon is just a joke.

I you don't like exp shared bonus for different vocations then suggest something else. In my opinion 50%/75%100% more exp from monster for 2/3/4 different vocations in party is't that much. Also every player can use this feature.
