Alchera is a project based on an already open source datapack. The aim is to have a server where someone can play like any other server but also contribute to the server, be it in a small script to additions in the map.
Why open source?
Lately there have been many people that have been wanting to make the open tibia community more open. This server is an attempt to do that, having the server and datapack available to everyone will let people pitch in, or just play like any other server, while enjoying constant updates and bugfixes.
How can I help?
Play & tell your friends! The best way to help is to bring your friends and support the server. If you know LUA or you can contribute to the server repository by fixing bugs or adding missing features, submit a pull request!
What makes the server different?
The open source side makes the server development really quick and active because people will be actively fixing and reporting bugs, expect daily updates.
Why support you?
This is an attempt to change the OpenTibia community, to really encourage the "Open" part of OpenTibia.
Don't like realmap server?
Don't worry! Soon there will be another server, not RL based!

I'm contributing but I need to get and ID or a position, what do I do?
Ask @Laur1 or @dominique120 to promote you to the in-game position of "Contributor". You will be like any other player but you can view coordinates and IDs.
The server will be based on TFS 1.0 and will follow the client versions of TFS 1.0(10.35 atm) so expect regular client updates, along with weekly, if not daily bug fixes.

We have a set goal to release by Friday and have some sort of open beta on Wednesday or Thursday.
There are a few things that will not be available to edit like the stages.xml, groups.xml and the config file.
In time, the website will be open source as well(Its still under development).
