Hello! I have not mapping for long time so i'm still noob :/ Anyways i want to show of my map pieces in small size to big. feel free to criticize. But no unnecessary comments please. Could be fun, and hear what other talented mappers have tips etc.. This i made now, and example of cave and normal iland but in very small size :)

Kind of busy right now, so I'll keep it short! Just wanted to say something to a newbie such as I was not too long ago :P

Great job for just starting! A lot better than lot's I've seen for starting mappers! Nature was your strength i'd say. You should really work on making it look more natural though, especially the shape of the islands and paths~ Too round! Same with the cave, it's just a circle really. You should look at some mapping work from Magnetico and Peroxide to see how they do it! I'm sure it'll give you some good ideas, cuz it did work for me!

Yeah but truly i sux at doing shapes .. I will try work on it! Thanks for your comment :)

The nature was ok if your mapping for a fun server, try to use just RAW-Palette and shape your own borders. It will automaticly be better! :)
 
Stop using autoborder, have a look at some other mappers threads, don't make things too square
