Hello @Xagul .
Since the first time you worked on a otserver called Xdc (xagul Death Chaos) I was working on a similar server. Since you said it has no future and is too hard to balance and not a 1 man project I gave myself the right to copy your work.
I am at a point where It takes me 4 months of 24/7 playing inclouding botting etc to reach the limit of my set gameplay and I wanted to ask you for the actual permission to host it. I know that I could just pm you but I believe a known guy like you gets a dose messages about OTM2 Etc. Also people can give feedback about the idea and if they will join and play/enjoy the server if it`s like yours but lasts much longer and has alot more input.

I know literally everything to know about that server. So if you want any input on the work you have done message me on here and I'll give u my Skype to talk. However, me and Xagul have talked about this a few times and he told me if anyone can do something similar to his work that it would be okay, but that he would never give the actual files to anyone.

Host it, just don't call it Project XDC. You have every right to make your own server and copy every little thing you like about other servers and put it into it.

Just don't use the name. "Project XDC" the name belongs to Xagul, you should name yours Project Ollo or something since it's your project lol.

Hahahaha :D Yea I knoow but it was xaguls idea and i took aloot from his server It would be unfair to take all this and then host it if he does not want me to if you understand what I mean ! I sent u a pm

English isn't his first language so I highly doubt he meant to be disrespectful whatsoever. He's got all the right in the world to copy the concept as long as he asks to host it. Which he did

Hello peroxide, what blink sayid yes english is not my main language and i didnt mean the way I said it :( i did do his work but he put the server offline so i took concepts from him into my idea and pay him respect cause of the amazing work and potential i have seen in his server ! and then i saw a thread where someone said that someones mom is a slut which is more disrespectful then what i says in my message !

on topic ! I will have setup a test for some certain people since blinkz helped me alot already he is in and then some people might message me for an invite ! keep in mind its not 100% done !:)

If you take it out of context yes. Otherwise its not that bad.
 
What I said wasn't meant to sound mean in anyway. All I really saw when I opened the thread were the words "I've given my self the right to copy your work". Plagiarism is the main context I saw at first. Glad you were giving him credit where due though. Seeing as you have his blessing I look forward to seeing the progress.

I have finally got the xampp and server running online, im sorry for the time i need to do so cause i never worked with this so far in my life !
Some small finetunes will be do so you guys have an start eq etc since i mainly focused on getting systems running monsters in and sets together now i make the start playable, will take a few hours and then send invites out for the beta !
 
people said i need it :o
im ok in lua scripting but i have never set up a server.. used hamachi to test everything for myself.. not it is works with xampp.. is there better? this is for test only too for few beta people
