The Dwarven Beginning

The average dwarf will Praise one of two gods. The first and most known is the God Kiel’orn.
The dwarven belief was that Kiel’orn was the first god to find Sephylza. Some gods found their entertainment in warring with each other, others found it in destroying suns and planets, however Kiel’orn found what pleased him most was creating things. He made stars, and suns that burned hotter than nothing else in existence but soon he grew tired of them and longed for something more. Then, he found the land of Sephylza. It was an ugly planet and full of shadow and despair.
He longed to make this land into something of great beauty and began forging and molding the land into beauty. He created Valleys and mountains that reached to the heavens and in these valleys and mountains he created ores, minerals and dirt.
Once he finished he rested and marveled at his finest creation. But still he felt empty and longed for more, he reached from the heavens and grabbed one of each ore and mineral and he molded life from the rock. The being was to his likeness and he loved this knew being and created the race known as the dwarves.
Kiel’orn loved his people and in his love gave them his greatest gift, the knowledge of his own to mold, shape and create things from the minerals and ores he had created in the land. The dwarves thrived and created cities in the mountains to be closest to their gods gift to them.
The second god dwarves may worship is Necrosis.
After the great cataclysm that tore the dwarven kingdom asunder many dwarves grew angry at their god and cursed him, they shouted in the ruined streets that the god had abandoned them and they no longer fallow his teachings.
Necrosis heard the great cataclysm and turned his attention to the chaos and heard the dwarves shouting in the streets and revolting against their god, he smiled and and whispered in their minds blasphemies about their former god. He lead them away from their kin and into the darkest pits of the earth he nurtured them and told them to fallow him for he will never abandon them. The grief stricken dwarves accepted Necrosis’s offer and began learning his ways. The ways of dark arts.
