My team are gonna make a OT-Server. We are gonna need help with it. I need to know what kind of map does players like. What kind of EXP do players like to play on. I was thinking RL Tibia map, Stages EXP from ? that is where i need help.
 
Want to have players quickly? Global map, 50~100x.

Want players for long-term? Own map (without teleports "enter here and go demon!!"), 3~10x.
 
Alright thanks guys. I still need to know if it is a good idea to used RL map? I'm trying to beat Znote :D. That is my goal. So should i used RL map... I think i will used RL map. The EXP i want people to join and level and be like wow this is slow.
 
If you want to use global map try to keep your server as much professional as it is possible, it would give player feeling that server will stay for longer time. Try to balance exprate dont make it like x100 or x50 because then you will get players just for month or so. Advertise it wherever it is possible. Good thing for first few weeks is to be logged on your gamemaster character. It will give feeling that you are interested how players are doing.

Realmaps would be a good choice for you. Although the custom maps are good with its popularity, but it's hard to make a good map that makes the players stay.

I think that most of ots players are not fans of hard and rpg servers. <_< I have been looking for good rpg server around month and I found nothing :\
