Any one know why apache wont work on my vps?

ive boughten a vps but apache wont work on it any ideas why?

Well, with the information you did not provide, no. What happens when you try and run it? Provide the error messages from the terminal or apache error log.

Apache is unable to start

you asked waht it said thats what it says

Please try to find something that could give us a clue on what's wrong. Just saying that it's unable to start doesn't really help. If your VPS provider offers support, use that.

thats what uniserver said when i ran apache then i spammed it on me maybe my firewall? who knows

I had the same problem on my Windows VPS (not sure why). I had to use Xampp instead to make it work.

I've actually never used Uniform Server, but I found this http://wiki.uniformserver.com/index.php/Debugging_Tips
Check the section called "Apache not starting - httpd.conf syntax check 2".
It also says that log files can be found under *\Uniform Server\udrive\usr\local\apache2\logs

Try to use the newest version of Uniformserver. That one is very old.

I tried also with the newest. Didn't work for me so i had to use Xampp
